Generational capital. Extraordinary human possibility. The founding chapter is open
YOUR INFORMATION. YOUR TRUST.

A private space for a shared ambition.

Privacy notice for the founding Moonshot Prize platform. Version: October 24, 2026.

Who handles your information

The Moonshot Prize initiative is being developed as a proposed program of Global Moonshots in Education, Inc. Contact info@globalmoonshots.org with questions or requests about your information.

What you choose to share

We collect business contact details, organization and role, broad philanthropic and investment preferences, prize interests, application narratives, consent choices and documents you upload. A signed-in account uses the identity supplied through ChatGPT sign-in. Please do not upload bank details, payment-card data, government identifiers, medical records or confidential information about other people without permission.

Why the information is used

Your information supports responses to inquiries, continuing conversations, maintaining your application, reviewing submitted work and administering the initiative. Funding preferences are indications only. They are not treated as binding pledges or as contributions received.

Independent permission choices

The application records confidentiality, permission for follow-up contact and permission to receive research updates and invitations separately. Declining optional contact or research updates does not turn an inquiry into a financial commitment or authorize public recognition. The research-updates checkbox does not authorize use of your private profile for research.

Who can see it

Authorized administrators can access submitted records for the initiative. Signed-in members can access their own applications and conversations. Assigned reviewers can see relevant nomination or application evidence, subject to conflict controls; internal administrative notes are restricted. Your name or organization will not be published as a supporter without separate permission.

Family-office planning and membership

Membership requests include your organization, role and verification context, reviewed by authorized administrators. The private planning workspace stores your mandate, illustrative scenarios, reading list and checklist under your signed-in identity. Planning content is private unless you deliberately create a shared brief. A shared brief contains only the saved sections you select. Anyone holding its link can open it for seven days, without signing in. You may revoke a link in the workspace; clearing planning data also revokes its links. Copies already printed or saved by recipients cannot be recalled. Expired links stop access; shared snapshots remain in the account records until revoked or covered by an approved deletion request. You may clear it using Clear private planning data in the workspace; membership records and submitted applications are managed separately through the privacy request process. Milestone records may hold submitted research outcomes and evidence references, with verification and changes recorded for accountability.

Hosting and service providers

The site uses ChatGPT Sites hosting and sign-in, with Sites-managed Cloudflare D1 for structured records and R2 for uploaded files. This version does not send your application to a model for analysis and does not process payments. Platform providers may process service and security information under their own terms and policies.

Optional films

Film posters are hosted on this site. An embedded YouTube player loads only when you press play. It uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain. Once loaded, YouTube receives connection and playback information, such as your IP address, browser information and site origin, under its own privacy policy. Closing the player removes it from the page. You may instead follow the direct link to watch on YouTube.

Security and abuse prevention

Access checks run on the server. Documents are served through restricted routes. The public inquiry form uses input limits, a submission key and an hourly limit based on a salted hash of the request IP address. The application does not store the raw address in that rate-limit record. Access and changes may be recorded for administration and security.

Measuring the donor journey

We count selected page views, form starts, submissions and print actions by day and source for up to 90 days. These application counts contain no names, email addresses, cookie identifiers or raw IP addresses and are not unique-visitor measures. Do Not Track requests skip interaction counting. Salted hourly IP hashes limit abusive event submissions and are pruned after 48 hours on later requests. Hosting providers may retain their own service logs. Institutional summaries and evidence links are made public only by an authorized administrator’s explicit publication decision.

Retention and your choices

Information is retained to manage the inquiry or application and necessary operational records. You may request access, correction, withdrawal or deletion by contacting info@globalmoonshots.org. Some records may need to be retained for legal obligations, audit or the integrity of a review process. Please identify your receipt or account email, and do not send passwords or identity documents in an initial request.

Your consent

Submitting an interest or application requires acknowledging this notice and consenting to use of the submitted details for the stated purpose. You can decline to submit or contact the initiative with questions. Any future public recognition or additional use requires separate consideration.

Optional browser dictation

If you choose voice dictation, your browser may send audio to its speech-recognition provider under that provider’s terms. The application stores only the transcript you review and submit. Typing remains available, and no OpenAI model analysis of applications is enabled by this feature.

Changes to this notice

The notice version is recorded with new submissions. Material changes will be reflected here before the relevant new processing begins.
