THE PALETTE

Restraint makes room for meaning.

Forest#173D33
Ivory#F7F4EB
Gold#AD9253
Ink#153C32

Forest anchors the institution. Ivory gives the work space. Gold marks the emblem and fine details; body text stays dark and legible.

Typography

Libre Baskerville for the principal voice. Source Sans 3 for evidence, navigation and practical work. One dominant title per view; restrained italics.

Photography

Real people engaged in real work. Natural light, accurate captions and source attribution. Preserve the dignity of the subject and distinguish editorial images from funded projects.

Composition

Consistent margins, fine rules and generous space. Reserve the arch for the opening Burj photograph. Use quiet rectangular frames for evidence and documentary images.

THE HONOR

A physical expression of the identity.

The obverse and reverse studies develop a medallion with relief, an articulated edge and a clear inscription.

ACCURACY IS PART OF THE DESIGN

Every claim has a place.

Drafts remain marked as drafts. Attribution stays with the image. Dates stay with the record. Do not use the identity to imply an award, appointment, endorsement or confirmed partnership that has not been announced.
